List at least three of the elements that should be in every contract with your parents.
Writing Activity
Draft contracts: Sometimes the most difficult part of creating a contract for parents is putting your practices in words.
Write a paragraph to describe each of your program practices for:
- Children taking naps (When do they take them? How long are children expected to sleep? What happens when a child doesn't want to sleep?)
- Toilet training (What is your philosophy about toilet training? How do you help children remember? How do you make sure that parents know your practices so that you are a team in helping the child become trained?)
- Discipline (What is your philosophy about discipline? Describe what your practices are? How do you share information with parents when their child is having difficulty controlling their behavior?)
