School Memories

Woman playing with children Most of us have colorful childhood memories of school. For some of us, those memories are happy. For others, unhappy memories of school bring back feelings of failure and punishment.

Our memories form the way we respond to teachers and school, whether they are happy or sad. In fact, some parents may have difficulty talking with teachers now because they remember school as a place that didn't make them feel good when they were children.
