Writing Activity

Describe your classroom's cleaning routine. Use a chart to write out what your team does to make sure that your classroom is clean and free of germs. Share the finished chart with your supervisor who may want to use it as a tool when your classroom or center uses a substitute teacher. You can create your own chart or use a guide created in Word.

My Classroom's Cleaning and Disinfecting Guide

Sand and water table Example: Once a week, we empty the sand and water table. We clean all of the toys from both tables with a solution of bleach and water (one part bleach to ten parts water). We empty the water table and clean the table with bleach and water. We throw away the sand, clean out the table with bleach and water, and put new sand back in.
